Ps4 Standing Up Without Stand

I ve heard conflicting reports about it.

I might have to stand one of my consoles vertically soon due to a lack of shelf space. So i just don t do it. There are vents in the sides both sides. I personally have never done that with any of my playstation consoles.

In the past i ve had issues with discs being scratched when standing a system vetically. 360 degree view of the ps4 mouse wheel zooms. Ya maybe get one of those stand deals for it. Yes if you stand it vertically there is still a bit of airflow but not as good as if you stood it horizontally or with the stand the stand has vents.

My ps3 had been vertical for 5 6 years since getting it on its stand but now with a new medi centre unit my ps3 is lying flat my ps4 has been flat since getting it.
